"Triple nine" day with Milan...

Dsc05103

Magical date in the calendar, "accidentally" brought me to the bookshop in my hometown and thanks to it, I have spent marvelous day with Milan.
Let me share with you 3 quotes which made me stick page markers into the book.

"I can have two faces, but I can't have them at the same time."

"Child is an existence without biography."

"You can't measure mutual affection of two human beings by the number of words they exchange."

9PM is the time when I have finished, this post.

Speechless...

Thank you Mr. Milan for being present, today;-)

Why no teachers have ever explained the physics to us this way?

;-)
Master piece book by Fritjof Capra - The Tao of Physics. I can only, bow and be silent to digest the content.

Both rational and intuitive parts of your brain will feast, while reading this gift of maestro Capra to the world.

I have a dream, that one day there will be a school where every subject will be interconnected with other subject, in order to provide students picture of wholeness and interrelatedness of everything around us.

cheers,

What craving would you pick on your gravestone?

Among the books I have read last month, was Haruki Murakami's book "What I talk, when I talk about running." It was the first book, which I have read by this Japanese master of the word. Though I am very grateful for this 'co-incidental choice' I have made in the bookshop.  The story - author's confession about how he has led his life, was astonishing reading experience. He has ran 24 marathons, 4 triathlons and he is running 6 days a week for last quarter century. Hats off to Mr. Murakami!

Must read not only for runners, but for everyone who has a purpose in life and know where are his/hers step heading to.

Mr. Hurakami knows it clearly and here are the last words of the book:
"Someday if I have a gravestone, I 'd like to say this":

H A R U K I     M U R A K A M I
1949 - 20**
Writer (and Runner)
At Least He Never Walked

What would your gravestone look like?

Cheers,

i.
